What types of products can American Foods package or manufacture?

We specialize in confectionery, snack, supplement, and select bakery items. Whether you need bulk-to-retail repackaging for a store-brand line or a full contract-manufacturing run from raw ingredients to finished goods, our SQF-certified U.S. facility and BRC-certified partner plants handle gummies, chocolate, hard & soft candy, biscuits, pastries, nutraceutical gummies, and more.

What is the typical minimum order quantity (MOQ) and how scalable are your lines?

For most projects the MOQ starts around 10,000 units or 1,000 kg, but we can pilot smaller test runs in our R&D lab. Thanks to 51+ high-speed production lines and automated packaging cells, we can seamlessly scale from pilot to millions of units per month without bottlenecks.

How long does it take from project kickoff to in-store delivery?

A standard timeline is 6–10 weeks: 1–2 weeks for final specs & artwork approval, 3–5 weeks for ingredient sourcing and production, and 1–3 weeks for packing, pallet optimization, and shipping. Rush programs or simple repack jobs can often ship sooner.

Which certifications and quality controls do you maintain?

Our Pelham, NH plant is SQF Level 3 and FDA-registered; our partner sites in Türkiye are BRC A-grade. Every batch follows HACCP plans, metal detection/X-ray, lot traceability, and on-site QA lab testing to ensure regulatory compliance for U.S., EU, and major retailer standards.

Can you support sustainable or custom packaging requests?

Yes. We offer recyclable monomaterial films, post-consumer-recycled (PCR) pouches, and reduced-plastic options. Our in-house Markem-Print technology lets us print variable data directly on film, so you can update designs or regulatory text without pre-printed stock, reducing waste and lead times.

How are your facilities reducing their carbon footprint?

Two key investments power our sustainability strategy: (a) the Horasan & Tortum solar farm—Türkiye’s largest, supplying 100 % renewable electricity to our partner plants—and (b) a vertical baling-press program in our U.S. site that compacts and sells cardboard & plastic trim for closed-loop recycling. We’ve already cut annual CO₂e emissions by 31 tonnes and target carbon neutrality for Scope 2 by 2030.

Can you provide documentation for our own ESG reporting?

Yes. We share life-cycle-analysis (LCA) data, energy-use dashboards, and third-party audit reports upon request. You’ll receive a sustainability dossier covering material composition, recycled content, renewable-energy credits, and transportation footprints—ready to slot into retailer or investor ESG templates.
